The new Hero Vida V1 electric scooter is available in two variants – Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro.
It gets a standard five-year warranty for 50,000 kms, while the batteries are covered by a 3-year warranty or up to 30,000 kilometers.
Interested customers can book the Vida V1 electric scooter online on the official website and at Vida Experience Centers in Delhi, Jaipur and Bengaluru from October 10, 2022, onwards at an initial amount of Rs 2,499. The Vida V1 electric scooter will be launched in a phased manner, with the product being available for retail sales in Delhi, Bengaluru and Jaipur to begin with, and subsequently in other cities.

The Hero Vida V1 electric scooter comes equipped with a list of features, including an LED headlamp, a 7-inch touchscreen instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, cruise control, 2-way throttle, key less control and SoS alert.
Other key features include a telescopic fork and a monoshock suspension system. For braking, the Hero Vida V1 gets a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. It has also received a split seat configuration, a retractable pillion seat, and a storage capacity of 26-litres.

The Hero Vida V1 electric scooter is available in three ride modes – Eco, Ride and Sports. Moreover, it gets a custom mode to provide more than 100 customizations for range and performance.

The Hero Vida V1 Pro will make use of a 3.94 kWh swappable battery, offering an IDC range of 165 km and sprints from 0-40 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. It has a top speed of 80 kmph.

The Vida V1 Plus electric scooter is powered by a 3.44 kWh swappable battery, offering an IDC range of 143 km. With a top speed of 80 kmph, it is capable of doing 0-40 kmph in 3.4 seconds. Both the batteries are equipped with fast charging at 1.2km/min.
The Vida V1 removable battery can be integrated at home to enable charging up to 11 kW. The company states that the batteries can be charged form 0-80% in less than 65 minutes. Moreover, Hero MotoCorp will soon be coming up with Vida charging network.

The Hero Vida V1 Plus is offered in three colour options– Matte White, Matte Sports Red and Gloss Black, while the Vida V1 Pro is available in four colour options, such as Matte White, Matte Sports Red, Gloss Black and Matte Abrax Orange.

The new Vida V1 electric scooter will be up against the likes of the Ola S1, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube and Ather 450X, carrying a price tag of Rs 1.45 lakh.
