Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo – Rs 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo is offered with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder T-GDi turbo-petrol engine that belts out 100 PS of max power and 172 Nm of peak torque. With a kerb weight of under 1 tonne, the Grand i10 Nios Turbo can surely be a sporty hatchback. What makes it an even better package is the 5-speed manual transmission that enthusiasts would surely enjoy.
Tata Altroz iTurbo – Rs 8.25 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards

The Tata Altroz iTurbo is yet another sporty hatch that was launched to cater to enthusiasts. The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine on the car is tuned to produce 110 PS power and 140 Nm torque. Just like the aforementioned Grand i10 Nios Turbo, the Tata Altroz iTurbo is also available with a 5-speed transmission as standard. Pricing for the iTurbo version starts from Rs 8.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai i20 N Line – Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards

The Hyundai i20 was already available with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine ever since its launch, however, Hyundai went on to introduce the N Line version of the premium hatchback with sportier exteriors and interiors, a dual exhaust outlet, disc brakes on all four corners, a retuned exhaust note, a revised steering rack with improved feedback as well as a reworked suspension setup. The 120 PS/172 Nm three-pot engine can either be had with a 6-speed iMT (clutchless manual) or a 7-speed DCT.
Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport – Rs 10.35 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards

Mahindra showcased a sportier version of the XUV300 at the 2020 Auto Expo, however, the production-ready version was only launched last month in the form of the XUV300 TurboSport. The SUV gets a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol mill churning out 130 PS of power and 230 Nm of torque. This makes it the most powerful sub-4m ICE car in India. Priced from Rs 10.35 lakh (ex-showroom), the XUV300 TurboSport can be had with a 6-speed manual gearbox only.
Hyundai Venue N Line – Rs 12.16 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards

Following the success of i20 N Line in India, Hyundai recently went on to lend the same treatment to the Venue sub-compact SUV. Similar to the N Line version of the hatch, it also gets a throatier exhaust, styling updates including new alloy wheels and red accents, disc brakes on all wheels, as well as the retuned steering wheel and suspension setup. However, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (120 PS/172 Nm) on the Venue N Line is available with a 7-speed DCT as standard.
