Including Surat, PMI Electro will now be operating electric buses in over 23 cities across the country. Notable cities where the company is operating E-buses include Kerala, Ladakh, Lucknow, Nagpur, Odisha, Rajkot, Delhi and Agra among others.
PMI Electro E-buses are equipped with safety systems such as RTMS (real-time monitoring system) and CCTV cameras to ensure passenger safety. Comfort provisions such as air suspension ensure that the e-buses negotiate difficult road conditions and offer passengers a pleasant ride.

Mr Satish Jain, Chairman, PMI Electro Mobility said, “Our manufacturing prowess and reliable engineering has allowed us to timely deliver orders to STUs (State Transport Undertakings) and provide citizens with clean public transportation. With almost negligible downtime and over 4 crore green kilometres covered, our electric buses have proved their mettle even on challenging terrains such as Ladakh and have encouraged people to use public transportation.”
It had earlier been reported that PMI Electro is also looking into manufacturing their own range of electric trucks and intra-city E-buses in partnership with China’s Beiqi Foton Motors. Pilot runs and trials with multiple STUs could begin as soon as Q1 FY24. Overall, the company is reportedly looking to expand its electric CV portfolio to 15 models ranging across light and heavy formats.
