Interested customers can book the Tiago EV at an initial amount of Rs 21,000. The firm has reserved 2,000 units of the Tata Tiago EV for its existing EV customers. This is the introductory price that will be applicable for the initial batch of 10,000 units. Test drives will begin from December 2022.
Tata is offering the new Tiago EV in seven variants that are available with different charging options and battery packs.

Powering the Tata Tiago EV is a 19.2 kWh or a 24 kWh battery pack, both units support fast charging. The 19.2 kWh battery produces a max power of 60 bhp and a peak torque of 110 Nm, offering a claimed range of 250 km per charge. The 24 kWh battery generates 74 bhp power and 114 Nm torque that offers 315 km range. These batteries can be charged from 10-80% in 57 minutes with a DC fast charger and from 0-100% in 3 hours and 36 minutes using a 7.2 kW AC charger.
Some key features of the Tata Tiago EV include a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, electronically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, automatic climate control, cruise control, leatherette seats and more.
Receiving a 4-star safety rating by global NCAP, the Tata Tiago EV consists of dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors and seat belt reminder. The Tata Tiago EV will rival the likes of the Tata Tigor EV that is in a different segment in the Indian market.
