As the driver turns the SUV into what looks like the parking complex of the society, they seem to lose control of the car, barging it into the parked two-wheelers until the Nexon finally comes to a halt. For a moment it actually looked like the SUV could even topple, but fortunately, the driver seemed to have walked away unhurt.

The reason behind the crash isn’t yet ascertained, although netizens were quick to jump to conclusions. Some said that the driver was possibly not accustomed to an automatic car, and hit the accelerator instead of the brakes. Others even questioned the driver’s skills. The security guard and another man came running as they saw the Tata Nexon lose control.
That said, the Tata Nexon is one of the safest cars available in the Indian market. The sub-compact SUV has a 5-star Global NCAP rating for adult occupant protection and 3 stars for child occupant protection, with the bodyshell integrity rated stable. The safety features on offer with the car include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, electronic stability program, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat anchors and so on.
