Has Varun Dhawan spilled the beans about Kriti Sanon‘s rumoured relationship with her Adipurush co-star Prabhas? The fans do seem to think so. While appearing on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Varun hinted that Kriti is in a relationship with the Baahubali and Saaho-fame actor, without actually naming him though. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon both appeared on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s finale on Sunday night to promote their latest release Bhediya. On the show, judge and filmmaker Karan Johar asked Varun to name a few eligible single women from Bollywood. Kriti’s name was absent from the list Varun gave.
In a video that has been shared by fans of the actors on social media widely, Karan questions Varun why Kriti’s name was not on the list. Varun replies, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath. (Kriti’s name is not here because her name is in someone’s heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika).”
Kriti raised her hands in exasperation at Varun’s response as others around them laughed. While Varun did not name Prabhas specifically, fans took this as a confirmation. Prabhas is working with Deepika on Project K, a bilingual film that also stars Amitabh Bachchan. However, they aren’t currently shooting together. Some fans did point this discrepancy out and wondered if Varun is merely doing ‘PR for Adipurush’.
But the rumours of Kriti and Prabhas dating have been doing the rounds for sometime. Prabhas and Kriti are starring together in Om Raut’s epic Adipurush, an adaptation of the Ramayana, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh. Though the actors have been tight-lipped about their relationship, fans are eagerly waiting for them to put the official stamp on it.
